Approach
Structure first. Then audience. Then scale.
Our approach comes from firsthand experience on the investor side of a media company that failed. It shapes every structure we build.
Principles
Four commitments guide how every Ridian vehicle is built.
- Ring-fenced series
- Each project sits in its own series with its own assets and liabilities. There is no cross-collateralization between investors in different projects.
- Protection before upside
- We prefer defined, early repayment positions and non-recourse structures over open-ended equity exposure.
- Measured deployment
- Marketing capital is released in stages and tested against real audience response before more is committed.
- Suitability over size
- We would rather raise less from people for whom it is appropriate than more from people for whom it is not.
How release capital is deployed
Audience interest outperforms audience awareness. Our campaigns find people who have shown real interest in a film, build an owned relationship with them, and move them toward opening-week tickets.
- Discover
Short-form content finds the audience already inclined toward a film.
- Capture
Interested viewers opt in, creating an owned audience that outlasts a single campaign.
- Convert
Targeted retargeting drives presales in the window before release.
How investors reach us
We do not publish offerings, terms, or results. Prospective investors complete a short introduction, meet with us one on one, and only after that conversation may be invited to review materials privately.
