About
Built by an operator from the media business.
Ridian Capital is managed by Kekchi, LLC and led by its founder, Ayokunle Spencer.
Ayokunle Spencer
Founder
Ayokunle has spent more than twenty years in broadcasting and media. He founded Omnitube, an event-premiere distribution platform for independent film, and has built audience-acquisition systems for filmmakers and festivals.
His approach to capital was shaped from the other side of the table, as a preferred shareholder in a media company that went through bankruptcy. That experience is why every Ridian vehicle is ring-fenced, favors non-recourse positions, and puts getting investors repaid first.
He is a member of the Film Festival Alliance and Art House Convergence.
“Independent films deserve more than admiration at festivals; they deserve a real path to audiences in theaters.”
Ayokunle Spencer, Founder
Mission
To provide disciplined, transparent capital that helps independent films reach theatrical audiences across the United States.
Our vision is a resilient independent theatrical ecosystem where exceptional films, art-house theaters, filmmakers, and capital partners can thrive together for generations.
